ICCV2009 will provide the following grant and financial supports for students in order to encourage them to attend ICCV and present their work by themselves. Please fill the form below and then press "submit" to apply for the supports.
Important Rules:

1. The deadline of the application is August 31st, UTC-12.
2. There are one grant and two supports: (1) Google Student Grant, (2) PAMI Support, and (3) ICCV2009 Support. One applicant can receive either of them.
3. The payment of (1) and (3) will be done on October 2nd (the last day of the main conference) by cash in JPY. The payment of (2) will be done by USD check after the conference. The detailed procedure will be announced to awardees directly.

(1) Google Student Grant

Under sponsorship from Google, ICCV2009 will award students who carried out excellent researches. The amount of the support is JPY50,000 (approx. USD500) for each.
Application Requirements: In order to be eligible, the applicant must satisfy the following three criteria:

1. Applicant must have a paper accepted to ICCV2009.
2. Applicant must be a student at the moment of the submission of the paper.
3. Applicant must finish the payment of the registration by Aug 31st.

Selection Process: In case the number of applicants exceeds the budget, the award committee of ICCV2009 will select the winners by the score of the paper review. Please be sure to fill the Paper ID and Title fields of the application form.

(2) PAMI Student Support

IEEE-CS PAMI will provide travel supports for students. The amount of the support is up to USD500 for each.
Application Requirements: In order to be eligible, the applicant must satisfy the following two criteria:

1. Applicant must be a student during the ICCV2009 period.
2. Applicant must finish the payment of the registration by Aug 31st.

Selection Process: In case the number of applicants exceeds the budget, the PAMI-TC chair and the general chair of ICCV2009 will select the awardees so that the budget will be used most effectively. Please do not forget to fill the Paper ID and Title fields if applicable.

(3) ICCV2009 Student Support

ICCV2009 will provide financial supports for students to cover the accommodation fee during the main conference. The amount of the support is JPY30,000 (approx. USD300) for each, which almost covers the fee of a 5 nights stay at Via-inn Kyoto (a hotel for students and young researchers).
Application Requirements: In order to be eligible, the applicant must satisfy the following two criteria:

1. Applicant must be a student during the ICCV2009 period.
2. Applicant must finish the payment of the registration by Aug 31st.

Selection Process: In case the number of applicants exceeds the budget, the general chair of ICCV2009 will select the awardees so that the budget will be used most effectively. Please do not forget to fill the Paper ID and Title fields if applicable.
