The deadline of the application is August 21st if you need to receive the letter from ICCV2009 by the first week of September (3 weeks before the conference).

Procedure

First of all, please read the official document by Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan carefully. You can check if you will need to have a visa or not by "Guide to Japanese Visas" Section II, "Exemption of Visas."

In the case you need to have a visa:

• Please complete the registration via the online service. You will be asked to provide your "Order Number" and "Receipt Number" which will be given when you finish your payment.
• It is strongly recommended to apply as early as possible, at least two month in advance.
