4. For your safety

On boarding: Your airline may not allow you to bring your poster tube as carry-on baggage due to "one piece carry-on baggage rule" or its length. Please check your airline's rules (JAL, ANA, UA, NWA, KLM, BA, LH, AF) and be ready to carry your poster tube as checked baggage.

In case of loss: It is highly recommended to keep your poster PDF in a USB memory for re-printing. If you have a PDF file in your USB memory, you can print your poster in Kyoto at Fedex Kinko's (shown by the red mark in the map below. 5min walking distance from Subway "Shijo Station (K09)"). Printing on an A0 sheet costs about JPY11,000 and takes about 2hours. Please note that it is NOT recommended to plan to print your poster in Kyoto. There is no assurance they can print posters for all of you in a limited time.
